Overview

HD Resolution: The captured video can have an image size of up to HD resolution. The camera can capture a much more comprehensive area than a standard VGA camera, which results in a reduced number of cameras required and an increased precision in monitoring the critical areas.

H.264 Platform Support: H.264, also known as MPEG-4 Part 10, is the latest MPEG standard for video encoding. H.264 is expected to become the video standard of choice in the coming years, because an H.264 encoder can reduce the size of a digital video file by more than 80% compared with the Motion JPEG format and as much as 50% more than with the MPEG-4 standard without compromising image quality. This means that much less network bandwidth and storage space are required for a video file. Or seen another way, much higher video quality can be achieved for a given bit rate.

CMOS Image Sensor: CMOS sensors give a high picture quality as well as the good sensitivity at both bright and dark locations. CMOS sensors have the advantage of seamless integration in mainstream semiconductor CMOS fabrication processes used to produce other common integrated circuits, so we can have a low cost and high quality image sensor for use in IP cameras.

ONVIF Support: The Open Network Video Interface Forum (ONVIF) is a global and open industry forum which its goal is to facilitate the development and use of a global open standard for the interface of physical IP-based security products. RedLeaf is a member of ONVIF.

Zoom ratio: the combination of optical and digital zoom functionalities helps to gain a deep level of details within the camera’s field of view.

Guard tour mode: the camera can be programmed to automatically move from one preset position to the next in a pre-determined order or at random.

WDR (Wide Dynamic Range): WDR technology is utilized by security cameras to produce vivid images even when bright and dark areas exist simultaneously in the camera’s field of view.

SDNR (Smart Dynamic Noise Reduction): RedLeaf cameras use a complex method that performs signal processing on the fixed and moving parts of each frame separately. This smart technology combines the results of 2D and 3D NR signal processing which results in a crisp and high quality image output.

Day/Night Functions: This feature of RedLeaf cameras makes it feasible to monitor critical areas 24/7 no matter it is day or night.

Audio Recording: With this feature you can record high quality audio from any external microphone or line input.

Alder Series: The Alder series includes security solutions for those who want a high performance security product with a medium cost. The products of the Alder series have all the required features for implementing a reliable and sturdy video security project at a reasonable price. The products of the Alder series are well suited to small to medium sized security projects.

Analog Video Output: This old fashioned analog video output helps the installers to quickly and easily apply the required first-run settings to the camera without the need to fully set up the network.
